About The Accountants of 2 Bean Counters McKinney, TX

Denice J. Bloomer, Owner

After graduating from the University of North Texas with a BBS in Accounting, I worked for a diverse group of companies to assist them with their accounting, bookkeeping and payroll needs. For more than 25 years, I have worked for two public accounting firms as a Staff Accountant, a publicly traded company as their Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, and two other large, privately-held companies as their Controller. I have always enjoyed working in public accounting and helping owners of small- to mid-sized companies grow and succeed. 

Upon my return to McKinney, Texas, in 2002, and after having started my own bookkeeping services company, I assisted a CPA licensed friend to help start his own accounting practice and we grew our respective practices together over the next 5 years until he decided to go work for a client while I continued to build and develop my bookkeeping and payroll services. As I continued to grow, I partnered with Stephanie Crutchmer and, together, we started 2 Bean Counters Bookkeeping and Payroll Services, LLC. 

Since 2008, given the state of the economy and the need for owners of small- to mid-sized companies to engage professionals to help them navigate the new and changing demands of the banking industry and government regulatory requirements, our company continued to grow by allowing companies to out-source their bookkeeping and payroll services to us at very competitive prices so they can focus on building and managing their business to provide a positive bottom line result. 

I have worked with QuickBooks for over 10 years and enjoy showing clients how it can help them with time management and reduce their financial concerns. Our payroll service allows for companies to obtain significant savings compared to what other national payroll service companies charge for similar services. Our company works with a local CPA firm who is able to handle our client’s tax and accounting needs at a competitive price. 

When I am not working and being with my clients, I enjoy spending time with my husband of 20 years and our 2 teenage children at the lake relaxing, boating and hanging out with friends. 



Paula Schleeter, Account Coordinator

With over 10 years of QuickBooks experience, I specialize in the everyday basics of the product including invoicing, bill payment, bank reconciling. payroll and reporting. Whether it is training the client to use the product or having 2 Bean Counters process the data for you we can achieve the most efficient and cost effective ways to meet your company needs and financial concerns. 

Prior to that, I have over 15 years of experience in project management and computer configuration. 

When I am not working and being with clients, I enjoy spending time with my husband and son, golfing, relaxing at the lake with friends and enjoying life to its fullest.
